Have you recently moved to the area, gotten married, or had a new baby and are interested in getting to know others in your community? The Scotch Plains-Fanwood Newcomers' Club, with approximately 100 active families, offers daytime and evening social activities just for you.
During the year, members organize activities for a variety of interest groups and plan special events. They occur days, evenings, and weekends so there is something for everyone. See the What We Offer page for more details. We provide a sense of community by utilizing local resources and providing networking opportunities for our members, in a fun and caring way. The majority of our events take place from September through June.
Each month, members receive a newsletter to catch up on club news and plan which activities to attend. We also buddy up new members with existing members, hold new member welcome events, and encourage everyone to participate in planning club activities.
